Liam A. Elrod, also known as General Adriel, or just Adriel was an American military officer who served as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff since his appointment to the position on the 4th of June, 2024.
In September 2024, Liam A. Elrod ran for the presidential election. Winning the Republican primary with the disqualification of fellow Republican Corbin Keitel, Liam A. Elrod went up against former President Taylor F. Sage, who at the time was the expected winner of the election as being very popular with the public, but in an unexpected twist of events, former president Taylor F. Sage, was defeated by Liam A. Elrod in a close and hard fight against each other. Liam A. Elrod was sworn in as the 9th President of the United States on 1 October 2024, with his term expected to end on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 @ 4:04 PM Eastern Time.
The Liam A. Elrod Center for National Intelligence, which is the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency, is named after him.
As the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Adriel was the highest-ranking military officer in the United States Armed Forces. However, the most influential position within the Armed Forces belongs to the Secretary of Defense, in accordance with R-USA's policy of maintaining civilian control over the military.
