The Community of Mappers, also known as CoM, was a Discord-based Mock Government and a Mapping Discord server. Founded in 2019 by Ceplio, it gradually started losing activity in mid-2020 before going completely inactive in late 2020.

Upon its creation, many oversaw the community as an original server, as Mock Governments weren't too known in the Mapping community. Many figures from the community, such as CheezeWafflz, WonderWaffle, Cosmic Mapping and Korean Mapping would join, allowing the server to thrive as a general community for mappers while having a government be elected, making it a Mock Government.

The gradual decline could be explained by several factors, notably the lack of interest, and the decentralization of the community, which led to people making their own servers and the end of the Mapperdonian Station.

Legacy

Community of Mappers had a relatively strong influence on many Mapping Communities, and was a pretty large Mock Government for the time. It also influenced Resprune into creating the French Republic.
