Karl von Klue, formerly known as KarlKLue is a Discordian statesman and owner originating from the Fourth Republic. He has presided over the most prosperous period in the Republics history growing membership and activity to record highs. For this some regard him as the greatest owner in the history of the Republic.
History
Karl Von Klue (formerly KarlKlue) first joined in early RoD 4. Karl started out as a member of the NAP imported by Mcl5, though his significance was minimal in this period. He would later became the Director of the RIA (Republic Intelligence Agency) around this time he switched accounts and quickly befriended L0GAN. This friendship with L0GAN proved beneficial as later he was fired by President Loser, under wrongful accusations of corruption. Shortly afterwards he would join the staff team.
The administration proved to be even harder to handle, due to the constant infighting. Karl did adapt relatively well to this, even as he was hated in the administration as a new member. At this point Karl found his main purpose in RoD, as a staff member. He served two terms in the senate of the fourth republic before it was nuked.
When RoD 4 was nuked, Karl was among the 10 people who chose the owner of RoD 5, but was unceremoniously fired, and fled RoD. Karl only returned in RoD 8 also known as the Union of Discord, where he started to work on his now well known and tested Nuke Defense System. Karl would once again leave the republic during this time.
Karl remained on a hiatus until he was re-invited to RoD 14. He quickly became L0GAN's most trusted Administrator, and mere months later, as RoD was dying out, he became an Owner in a custodial role.
The 15th Republic

Karl's role as a custodian would not last long, seeing the increasingly emaciated state of the Republic he resolved to do something to slow the decline, leading to the establishment of the Karlite Dictatorship, a non-democratic state in which he wielded supreme authority. This slowed the decline, and lasting only 3 weeks formed the foundation of the modern republic. Having resolved himself to restore the Republic to its former glory he began restoring the institutions of the past from memory, propping them up with the support base established during the dictatorship. During this period Commie Jesus would join the Republic and become a close associate of Karl and becoming the first elected president of the 15th Republic of Discord with Karl as his vice president, under the NRP. Karls association with Commie Jesus would end following the accusations of pedophilia laid against him.
Karl served in several government positions in the early months of the 15th Republic including several stints as President. As the servers prosperity grew he stepped back from government roles to allow more people into the government. The sole exception being his role as official diplomat to Leons USSR, and other diplomatic roles he has been asked to take on. Since December 2020, Karl has abstained from voting in any national elections within the Republic of Discord.
Karl is widely regarded as the best and most significant owner in the Republics history, and is by far the most influential figure within the 15th Republic. Following the resignation of his close friend Mcl5 he was chosen to succeed him as holding owner, taking his place formally as head of the Triumvirate, a position he had de-facto held since his appointment as custodian. Karl has remained the bedrock of the nation, providing for its defense, growth, activity, and stability. He has run almost every election since the formation of the 15th Republic freely, fairly, and on time. His actions have drastically shaped the Republic and brought about a new more prosperous and modern state.
He announced his intentions to retire on August 31st 2022, on August 24th 2022.
He would return on August 13th 2024 to formally dissolve and discontinue to the Republic of Discord following the failed revival of the government. Finally ending the 6 year existence of the server and transitioning the server towards a community model.
