The National Intelligence Agency, known informally as the N.I.A., is a civilian and military Intelligence service tasked with the gathering, processing, and analyzing of public and secret information from across Mock-Government for the Republic of Poland, primarily through the use of Double-Agents, Whistleblowers, Defectors, and covert breaching of foreign intelligence agencies through its Foreign Intelligence Command.
The N.I.A. reports immediately to the Director of the National Intelligence Agency (DoNIA), who reports to the Minister of External Affairs. The Minister relays information to the President of the Republic of Poland.
The Constitution of the Republic of Poland states that the N.I.A. has the authority to arrest Polish Citizens on Polish soil if they pose a threat to the security of Poland.
History
The National Intelligence Agency was originally known as the Agencja Wywiadu National Intelligence Agency (A.W.N.I.A.) and was created to provide extensive intelligence information to the Polish Government during Poland’s rise, in order for the server Administration to best learn how to grow the server and prevent any incoming attacks.
On January 27, 2024, A.W.N.I.A. was established and began collecting information for itself to be relayed to the Polish Government. The agency was administered by the Ministry of Government Affairs and was composed of three departments;
- Foreign Intelligence Division
- Internal Security Division
- Counterintelligence Division
Management of A.W.N.I.A. was given to the Polish Director of National Intelligence, to whom the Head of each Department reported directly. The DoNI reported information to the Minister of Government Affairs. In the whole history of A.W.N.I.A., only one person fulfilled the duties of the DoNI position.
The Ministry of Government Affairs responsible for A.W.N.I.A. performed its duties from August 1, 2023 to February 2, 2024 when it was replaced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of External Affairs. Following this change of government structure, A.W.N.I.A. was placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Presidential Executive Order of July 12, 2024 made significant changes to the structure of A.W.N.I.A. The Polish Office of the Director of National Intelligence was dissolved and replaced by the Office of the Director of the National Intelligence Agency. A.W.N.I.A. was broken into three separate agencies, mirroring preexisting departments. The Foreign Intelligence Division became the National Intelligence Agency, the Internal Security Division became the Internal Security Agency (I.S.A.), and the Counterintelligence Division became the Counterintelligence and Anticorruption Bureau (C.A.B.). The latter two agencies received their own Directors. The N.I.A. was placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of External Affairs, the I.S.A., under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the C.A.B., under the Ministry of Justice.
Since its establishment on July 12, 2024, the National Intelligence Agency engaged in intelligence operations, propaganda campaigns, and proxy conflicts to expand Polish influence over Mock-Government. Cyber warfare and disinformation campaigns also played a significant role in the shaping of events. The N.I.A. made notable and successful advancements against the CIA, collaborating closely with the Counterintelligence and Anticorruption Bureau. Most significantly, in May of 2024, a massive CIA network within Poland was detected by the C.A.B. which led to the identities of all CIA Officers within the server being immediately compromised, many of them arrested and banned from the server. The detection led to the destruction of at least 4 months of work conducted by the CIA.
Rival Agencies
The N.I.A. is rivaled by the following agencies, and has been known to spend extensive resources on infiltrating them;
