The Republic of Poland (Polish: Rzeczpospolita Polska), commonly known as just Poland is a discord-based Mock Government themed around its real-life counterpart. Formerly an ally of Romeo's USA (R-USA), and with over 490 members, it is one of the most prominent democracies in Mock Governments since mid-2024.
Founded in 2023 by Billionaire and some of his Polish friends, the server began small with not much relations with the community. It wasn't until early-2024 that the server began rapidly expanding.
Poland is a de facto authoritarian democracy, which some have criticized due to its lack of political plurality and the President's amount of power. The server balances out a mix between roleplay and a more traditional Mock Government.
History
Ancient Era
The roots of Polish history can be traced to November 15, 2021, when the territory of present-day Poland was inhabited by very few people. Not much is known about this era, as not many written records survived till the present day.
This era ended when Poland was established as a state by Aleksander Mościcki on August 1, 2023 when he began his term as President of the Republic. He established a Polish Church structure, pursued growth and development, and established a sense of National identity.
First Republic
Beginning on August 1, 2023, the First Republic was characterized by the formation of a modern nation. During the course of this part of Polish history, the Council of Ministers and both Houses of Parliament were formed and officially established on March 17, 2024; the first elections to the Sejm and Senate took place on March 20, 2024. In the First Republic, the Council of Ministers was appointed by the Prime Minister on behalf of the President and during this era, the Constitution was edited several times.
As a developing country, Poland was in search of successful allies to support its interests. The Polish government allied itself with countries such as R-USA and the former Republic of Croatia. The alliance with the latter did not prove fruitful due to international tensions following The Authority’s invasion of Croatia.
Warsaw was the target of the first ever terrorist attack on the Republic of Poland on January 7, 2024. Polish security agencies launched a successful investigation within 24 hours of the incident and banned the culprit from the country. Polish allies, notably, R-USA made statements of support for the country.
Between February 27 and March 13, 2024 Poland witnessed the substantial inflation and crash of the American Dollar (USD), strengthening the Polish Złoty (PLN) and fostering its debut on international markets. For the first time ever, Poland also took part in the March 2024 Olympic Games.
Over the course of June and July, 2024, Poland entered the Polish-American Cold War of 2024. The First Republic ended on July 6, 2024, lasting approximately 340 days.
Second Republic
Beginning on July 6, 2024 with the substantial codification of the Constitution and Law Code by the Supreme Chamber of Control, the Second Republic is characterized by a time of growth and stability. During this time period, the Justice system and military was expanded, and the Polish intelligence network grew rapidly, becoming one of the more effective organizations in Discord Mock-Government.
Poland almost entered its first war in history near the end of July, 2024. The One Day War, part of the Josiah Wars ended on August 1, 2024.

Wars
Polish-American Cold War of 2024
The Cold War between R-USA and Poland was a complex and multifaceted geopolitical standoff characterized by ideological differences, espionage, and diplomatic maneuvering. The tension between these two nations stemmed from their contrasting political systems and strategic interests.
This conflict had its roots on June 2, 2024 when Poland and R-USA were still allied. American President Romeo Cruz issued a document demanding the resignation of Polish Vice President Donald Trump, threatening to remove American-sanctioned security of Poland, signaling a rift between the nations. Trump's remarks had hinted at a potential threat to America. Prompted by the resignation, President Mościcki and Prime Minister Soszyński issued statements in response.
The Director of the then AW National Intelligence Agency also weighed in, criticizing the American regime's missteps and implicated a CIA agent. In response, R-USA severed all bilateral ties with Poland.
President Mościcki, a key figure in American politics, faced repercussions. The CIA raided his personal residence in Chicago, IL on June 4, while the Polish Embassy in Washington was seized by the Department of Defense. A curfew was imposed by President Mościcki but lifted after 9 days. Vice President Trump was reinstated at this point in time.
Throughout the Cold War, both R-USA and Poland engaged in intelligence operations, propaganda campaigns, and proxy conflicts to expand their influence and undermine each other. Cyber warfare and disinformation campaigns also played a significant role in shaping events. The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) made notable and successful advancements against the CIA at this time, strengthening Poland in the conflict.
Despite the tensions, there were sporadic diplomatic efforts to prevent a full-scale conflict. Following the incident, Poland aligned with authoritarian states like the controversial Authority, as the power struggle continued in the quest for global supremacy.
The duration of the Cold War remains uncertain, with some suggesting it ended when President Cruz was defeated in the presidential election by Republican Candidate XCC1 on July 24, 2024, after lasting 53 days, but it in reality, the war is still ongoing. The conflict epitomized the dynamic and volatile political landscape of the time.
The One Day War of 2024 (Part of the Josiah Wars)
Poland teetered on the edge of embarking on its inaugural military conflict in its long history. Aligned with Austria-Hungary, The Authority, and a fellow member of the CDTO alongside the Kingdom of Croatia, the Republic found itself reluctantly compelled to consider entering the fray. The backdrop was a tense geopolitical landscape as these nations clashed with Napoleonic France, accusing them of genocide denial. Amidst this crisis, both the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Defense vocalized unwavering support for Poland's allies, signaling a readiness to stand by them in this conflict. The National Armed Defense Force began readying troops for potential deployment overseas to bolster the cause. However, strategic maneuvers orchestrated by the Ministry of Defense successfully steered Poland away from the brink of war.
The brief but intense One Day War unfolded from July 31, 2024, to August 1, 2024, casting a shadow of uncertainty over the region. In the aftermath, the CDTO and notably Morocco celebrated a triumph in the Josiah Wars, underscoring the complexities and shifting alliances that defined this historic moment.
