The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), commonly referred to as Robert's USSR, the Selynite USSR or just the USSR, is a Discord-based mock government themed around its real-life counterpart. It emerged shortafter Felix's takeover as General Secretary of Leon's USSR. It is considered by many to be an exile government of the former.
While Robert was going to succeed Leon as new leader, the latter chose Felix instead due to the lack of response from Robert. However, Felix was not able to bear the sudden amount of power he gained, and as such, developped a cult of personality surrounding himself, which led to Robert fleeing the server and making his USSR in exile.
Despite existing only for half a year, it took a considerable chunk of Leon's USSR's active community, partly due to the censorship done by Felix regarding the accusations against Leon. As of October 2024, it counts over 400 members and relatively good activity metrics.
History
Supreme Masterminds
The Supreme Masterminds was the first server which contained the very primordial essence of the Community, it used to be a community meant for Online Education. Purpose of which was to share learning material
Early Beginnings
The Supreme Masterminds was led by Supreme Zee,however he never truly held any significant power his community, causing chaos and disarray in his server. Due to alot of Chaos, the server started to become a roleplaying community.
Spread of Communism
One time, a user called Ice Crem then requested a Communist Role, which was jokingly held by an other person. Ice Crem teamed up with another student of the server, who went by the name of Shadow Hokage and they started to cause disarray in the server due to a personal disagreement between them and the owner in real life
Departure of Supreme Zee
Due to Supreme Zee not being able to contain the chaos within the community, he resigned and passed ownership to Appy. Appy seeing the demands for a Communist Server, She turned the server into the Soviet Socialist Republic of Supreme which was the predecessor to the Leon's USSR
Early Marxist Era
Appy did not stay in power for a long time, She saw that she was not qualified for leadership, so she passed the torch to Shadow Hokage. Shadow Hokage created the Red Army and also renamed the server to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, due to still a large chunk of the server revolting against Hokage, Hokage put down the revolution
Imranian Revolution
Imran wanted to restore the old Supreme Masterminds era of the USSR, due to this he made a separate server which later got nuked by the Red Army.
First Major Governmental Reforms
Since Shadow Hokage was becoming more and more busy with life, He decided to split the Supreme Government into three branches. He created the Council of People's Commissars (Executive) and National Congress of the Soviet Union (Legislative) both of which was overseen by the Central Committee. During this time, Ice Crem was starting to gain more and more popularity
Appointment of Leon
Shadow Hokage seeing Ice Crem's rise to prominence, he appointed him as the People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Ice Crem used this position to slowly carve out political power for himself. Shadow Hokage appointed Ice Crem as the Generalissimus of the Soviet Union, cementing his role as Administrative Leader.
Cuban War
Ice Crem decided to provoke Cuba into a war, due to this Cuba responded with a harsh strike against the USSR. The USSR dispatched the early form of KGB against Cuba, the Cuba server got destroyed easily with most of its members emigrating into the USSR
First Two Month Plan
The Server was still low in terms of member count, so Leon decided to start the growth of the Soviet Union. The Server increased a significant boost in activity during this time as well as growth, putting it as a Great Power on the map
Departure of Leon
Leon was burnt out from the Two Months Plan, so he left the server to recover. Shadow Hokage however was not interested in leading the community anymore, so he appointed Wilhelm Pieck into Leon's position.
