La France, officiellement la République française, est une simulation de gouvernement basé sur Discord et anciennement un proche allié de la République de Discord. Établie en tant que PréRépublique le 20 octobre 2019, elle se poursuit jusqu’à nos jours par son organisation actuelle sous la IX^e République.

La France est sous une république constitutionnelle unitaire ayant un régime semi-présidentiel. Elle a pour capitale Paris et pour langue officielle le français. Le serveur était bilingue pendant une longue période de son histoire, mais a rendu caduque cela en 2022. En cette même année, le serveur est à environ 350 membres. Elle est aussi le pays fondateur de l'Union Européenne.

Histoire

Ère Antique

PréRépublique

L’Histoire de la France remonte au 20 octobre 2019, lorsque Resprune et Ilhraiq formèrent la Pré-République. Le serveur n’était pas réellement une simulation de gouvernement, mais plutôt une communauté bilingue. Devenir citoyen à l’époque se faisait sous une demande par formulaire dans l’Union Européenne, fondée quelques jours après la France. Le serveur s’apparentait plus de facto à une autocratie, en raison de son manque d’élections et d’un pouvoir présidentiel absolu, notamment car il n’y avait pas de constitution.

Une douzaine de jours après sa fondation, elle prit rapidement une rivalité avec l’Union des Républiques Socialistes Soviétiques. Cela s’est manifesté par son envie de rendre caduque son traité avec le Royaume de Roumanie, ce dernier étant considéré comme un état satellite par le gouvernement français. Pensant donc que l’URSS avait déclaré la guerre envers la Roumanie, l’Union Européenne passe donc en état d’urgence. Les relations diplomatiques étants tendues, une paix blanche se fit le jour suivant après des négociations.

I^e République et Guerre Euro-Soviétique

Pendant une longue période, la Pré-République n’avait pas réellement d’activité en soi, et se retrouva dans une situation désavantageuse. Le serveur étant donc en phase de récession, Resprune fait appel à Cap pour faire un autre serveur, possédant cette fois-ci une constitution et un aspect plus formel et solennel. Le 26 janvier 2020, la constitution fut adoptée par le Gouvernement, Cap remplace donc Ilhraiq comme Premier Ministre.

Les jours passent, et les tensions avec l’URSS commencent de nouveau à se raviver. Cela est notamment en raison de l’Espagne qui quitta l’Union Européenne pour rejoindre le Pacte de Varsovie, ce qui fut condamné par cette dernière. Les sondages voulaient que l’Espagne reste un membre de l’UE, mais la pression de Kimba pour la propriété devint intense, obligeant Resprune à céder face à ces menaces de Léon, ce dernier jugeant une oppression face aux communistes.

On February 9, 2020, Turkey decides to change its regime to democracy and to leave the Warsaw Pact, after persuasion by Cryptic. A few minutes later, it became a member of the European Union. In reaction, the USSR and the Warsaw Pact decided to declare war on the European alliance.

During the conflict, Heydar Aliyev, a member of the USSR government, manipulated Resprune into giving him his Discord account. A few days passed, and the French property was given to Leon by Heydar, claiming that he was hacked. On top of that, the European Union's server was also taken, and nations of the same alliance were nuked. The consequences of the war were brutal, Resprune was forced to sign an armistice with the USSR, so the conflict ended on February 15, 2020.

II^e Republic, CommonFrealth Project

Due to the takeover of the 1st Republic, Resprune renamed the former Republic to establish the 2nd French Republic. With the EU dissolved due to the treaty accepted by the European countries, France then turned to expand French influence, notably with the founding of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF). The latter promulgated a common educational and free trade agreement for the member countries, under the influence of the French Republic.

On April 1st, Resprune made an April Fool joke to Cryptic where it would have "invaded the world". The latter took it seriously and formed a coalition, which included Egypt and other nations. This coalition was in the form of a group to which Resprune was invited. He was asked to respond to this, so he explained that it was an April Fool joke, but nobody believed him. Seeing himself surrounded and pressured, Resprune decided to delete France after an irrational decision.

A few days later, Resprune decided to recreate France, but it appeared as the Commonwealth of France. The Commonwealth had the distinction of being based under a technocracy, with important technological aspects. Formed as a project to simulate an "original" government, it was quickly inactivated and rendered obsolete due to numerous disagreements over its organization.

III^th Republic

After the failure of the CommonFrealth Project, Resprune made contact with Cap, and on May 26, 2020, the Third French Republic appeared. It is considered to be one of the most stable republics, especially because it is much more professionally organized and has a much higher level of activity than previous republics. The Republic had a major influence on the creation of the Equalitarian Foundation, a server based in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

There were many simulated governments allied with the French Republic, including Belgium and Canada. These were major members of the OIF. The latter was rapidly gaining influence in the community at large, especially since France had won a war against the British Empire. In the peace treaty concluded, France annexed Mali and made Madagascar a protectorate.

During this period, Cap founded a Royalist party in France and made a speech in which he expressed the wish to re-establish a monarchy. Resprune misinterpreted this message, accusing Cap of wanting to carry out a coup d'état. After many tense exchanges, Cap was banished, and France was without a Prime Minister for a short period. Cluster then became Prime Minister, the first woman to hold the position, a historic turning point for the Republic.

During personal events between Resprune and other individuals, NezoGG contacted servers of a fascist and neo-Nazi nature, promising them a server with a thousand members in exchange for helping Resprune. This backfired on NezoGG as they would begin to chase the Republic in several ways. During this personal situation, Cryptic, the owner in France, was shocked to find allegations about Resprune on several social networks. This led them to argue in private messages.

After many discussions of peace and war regarding Cryptic and Resprune, they concluded that they would seek peace and had supposedly "solved" their problems. However, without warning, during the night, Cryptic and groups of Guilded Nazis joined forces to nuke the French nation and unfortunately succeeded.

IV^th Republic

Hearing of the disaster in France, the USSR immediately sent relief supplies and troops to rebuild the fallen France. After Cluster resigned from France, Ray was appointed Prime Minister and helped to the best of his ability to reunite the fallen nation and rekindle the fire tarnished by the Nazis. The IVth Republic was then proclaimed, keeping the same constitution.

The relations with the USSR were rather good and allowed strong stability between France and the other nations. However, some reforms were achieved, which led Ray to resign as Prime Minister. The nation went through a period of internal recession. There was no Prime Minister at the time, and France entered a crisis.

During this period, the French Communist Republic of The French Comrade was failing more and more from a level of activity and members. He then decided to unify his France with the French Republic, in exchange for the Cabinet being of the former, and the Prime Minister being him. After this unification, France became a member of the Proletarian Alliance, news that shocked the international scene. Unfortunately, two weeks after the unification, The French Comrade decided to give back independence to Communist France, and then, on October 11, 2020, as Resprune changed his identity, he decided to suppress France again.

V^th Republic

Resprune, alone at the time, had decided to recreate France, so it became the Fifth Republic. After a dozen days, Quentin Machado became Prime Minister during a period of reconstruction, with the idea of a Roblox game for the French Nation. His arrival in power oversaw the increase of French members in the server, and an interest in the French nation began to be rebuilt.

In November 2020, the French government became fearful of The Authority, a server that many considered to be neo-Nazi at the time. France took a position of neutrality during the First Soviet-Authority War, although it showed some diplomatic support to the USSR. Wilhelm Keitel, the leader of The Authority, made contact with Resprune for a time, but this did not affect the almost hostile relations between the two nations.

In December of that year, Ozymandias, then known as "The Red Son", quickly gained influence over the server, and became Prime Minister the same month. Together with Resprune, they made a new constitution that was accepted by the people on December 18, 2020.

New Era

VI^th Republic

Under this VIth Republic, France had a period of diplomatic enhancement, despite some political and internal instability. Figures like Nikolai Kuznetsov appeared, and their influence in the republic was successful in trying to make it more stable. However, on December 25, 2020, Wang Ming decided to post a call between him and Resprune, which made his public image ruined concerning relations with the USSR. Numerous conflicts took place diplomatically, and Resprune decided to resign and leave France, thus giving the Presidency to Ozymandias. A day later, he returned, and France was deleted again.

For a long period of a few months, France did not exist as a nation. Some considered it an ancient nation.

VII^th Republic

The VIIth French Republic was founded by Resprune and Ozymandias on May 15th, 2021, with the main addition of a public Minecraft server where anyone could participate. The idea was to grow the server much more and to allow an intuitive way to participate in the Republic. The French Republic quickly established relationships with the USSR and other nations, and its alliances were also recreated.

In June 2021, the Republic established its first contact with the Republic of Discord. Under the presidency of General Buttnaked, the Republic of Discord and France signed a mutual defence agreement, and a week later, France joined the Discordian Alliance Treaty Organization (DATO). France was now beginning to carry much more diplomatic weight. Other countries like Japan and India also made alliances with France.

As the Discord server grew, the Minecraft server began to decline in popularity, mainly because most members did not have Minecraft, and were not interested. After several attempts to revive the server, on June 20, 2021, the Minecraft server was closed. At the same time, the first parliamentary elections took place, giving hope against the long-forming autocracy.

A week later, an organization called the 4th Brigade began to exert its influence over other servers, including taking control of some servers with unethical methods, including blackmail and hacking. With Japan being the victim of such blackmail, Resprune decided to take a break, giving the responsibilities to Ozymandias, which failed.

After the return of Resprune, he decided to invoke article 7 of the Constitution, thus granting him full powers. This invocation will not succeed, because, on July 18, he decided to completely leave the sphere of government simulations for personal reasons. Ozymandias was transferred to the French property, his mission was to organize presidential elections. Despite these efforts, the Republic was completely dissolved on August 3, 2021. For a very long time, France was again considered an ancient state.

Contemporary Era

VIII^th Republic

Resprune and Ozymandias, on March 13, 2022, decided to contact the Discordian Government to ask for help to rebuild France. The latter granted this aid, approved by President BLYATMAN at the time. On March 15, the VIIIth Republic was officially declared, with the major difference being presidential elections. This is a first for the French Republic because, unlike other republics, these elections would be done by Google form.

Joseph V. Stalin was provisional president of the French Republic from March 20 to April 3, when the first elections took place. Resprune decided to run to build some foundations of the Republic. He won with a majority in the second round against Arnadex and won re-election. On May 7, 2022, Christian Rougeot was elected President of the Republic, becoming the first elected President other than Resprune, a historic turning point for France.

Under Christian Rougeot's tenure, he promised a new, stable constitution with clearly stated foundations and several important reforms. With the help of several prominent members in France, a new constitution was drafted, and was approved by the people on June 11 with 81.25% of the vote, and came into effect on June 13, when Christian Rougeot and Alexandre de Villiers handed over power.

IX^th Republic

The XIth and current Republic entered an era of revitalization and record, with the arrival of notable figures such as Philéas and John Guillman. One reason why it would have been able to develop so easily would be the implementation of democracy, which would have helped France to create its own culture. The "Mouvement Souverainiste et Démocratique", a political party in France, has contributed significantly to the politics of the Republic in an influential way.

In June 2022, a serious diplomatic crisis between France and the USSR took place, due to an accusation of espionage by the DGSF toward the USSR. The head of Soviet diplomacy Robert Selyn discussed with Resprune, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Both were able to resolve the diplomatic conflict within a few days.

En août 2022, des tensions commençaient à s'agiter entre Resprune et John Guillman, et le 16 août 2022, un coup d'État eut lieu par la DGSF. Ce dernier fut alors mis en colère, et décida de créer la République Fédérale Française. Après quelques tensions agitées de plus, une guerre civile fut déclarée, c'est le début de la Sécession Fédéraliste.

Pendant cette guerre civile, de nombreux évènements eurent lieu, comme les attaques terroristes sur la République Française, et l'espionnage par les FSF. La République Française fit aussi un espionnage, mais qui n'aboutira pas réellement. Le 14 septembre, Alfred Cockitch et Darren DeGaulle signent un traité de paix entre les deux France, marquant la fin de la guerre civile.

En octobre 2022 marque une remontée de la République Française en termes d’activité, après la réélection de Sergueï Misuto en tant que Président de la République. Des relations entre la Kramérie et la France furent établies de plus en plus, montrant une solidarité envers les autres serveurs démocratiques. La France est aussi actuellement membre de la Ligue des Serveurs.
